Job Description:
Currently looking for an Ambulatory/Outpatient/Retail Pharmacist to work a desirable 7on, 7off nightshift to fill an opening with a large Hospital setting located around the Bonita Springs, FL area. Interested candidates should have BS Pharmacy degree with 5 years of experience and/or one year of recent ambulatory experience as a pharmacist or a pharmacy intern with a PharmD.

Responsibilities of the 7on/7off Ambulatory/Outpatient Pharmacist:
The ambulatory staff pharmacist is responsible optimizing patient care outcomes through interdisciplinary medication management. This is primarily accomplished through interpreting prescriptions and the preparation, dispensing, and monitoring of medications used in a community pharmacy. The pharmacist is expected to sustain an environment for the safe, rational, effective, and efficient use of medications prescribed to patients of all age groups. Pharmacists are responsible for the direct supervision of pharmacy technicians. All job duties shall be performed in accordance with all applicable Florida and Federal laws, regulatory agency standards, professional practice standards, and policies and procedures of the health system/pharmacy department.
Requirements of the Ambulatory/Outpatient Pharmacist:
- BS Pharmacy degree with 5 years of experience
- 1+ years of recent ambulatory experience as a pharmacist or a pharmacy intern with a PharmD
- 7on, 7off Nightshift
