Job Description:
Small not-for-profit hospital is seeking an Accountant for the Healthcare setting. Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred. Enjoy an excellent full-time/permanent position within a robust system in Beautiful Sought after Midwest.

Job Duties:
- Prepare and process journal entries.
- Reconcile banking/investment accounts.
- Update and balance the general ledger.
- Maintain capital assets.
- Maintain prepaid expenses.
- Provide support to accounts payable manager and accounting project analyst.
- Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing processes.
- Assist with external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 2+ years of Accounting experience
- Healthcare experience is a plus
