Assistant Director-Managed Care

Hospital System located in Beautiful and Desirable Nevada is seeking an experienced   Assistant Director-Managed Care. Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of professional level experienced in managed care/health care program management in the Acute Care setting. Provides support to the Director in negotiating and managing contracts with healthcare providers and payers. Ensures contracts comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meets the organization’s financial and strategic goals.

Job Knowledge for the   Asst. Director of Managed Care

• Experience in Acute Care in the following areas:
  • contract preparation and management  
  • healthcare operations  
  • financial management  
• Knowledge of healthcare billing.  
• Strong communication and presentation skills.  
• Prior experience managing analytical staff.

Requirements for the Managed Care Assistant Director

• Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree preferred
• 5 years of professional level experienced in managed care/health care program management in the Acute Care setting
• Knowledge of healthcare billing
