We are seeking an experienced Assistant Nurse Manager to join our Behavioral Health Services team in Upstate New York. In this role, you will collaborate with the Nurse Manager to lead and organize high-quality, patient-centered care, oversee day-to-day operations, and mentor nursing staff. Job Responsibilities for the Assistant Nurse Manager position:

  • Collaborate with the Nurse Manager to coordinate nursing operations and ensure quality care.
  • Manage patient placement, staffing assignments, and team performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement and staff competency initiatives.
  • Act as a role model and mentor for nursing staff.
  • Work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care to patients.

Minimum Job Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (RN) with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant clinical experience.
  • Previous leadership experience preferred.
  • Eligible to obtain or active Registered Nurse license in New York State.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Specialty certification preferred.

Salary and Benefits

  • Compensation: $36.14 - $56.41 per hour (commensurate with experience, education, and certifications).
