Job Description:
Our client located in the state of Delaware is seeking a full time, permanent Bilingual Deputy Director. The position reports to the CEO. This position offers great benefits and competitive compensation. The ideal candidate has a Master’s Degree in Health Care Management, Business Administration, or an MPH, along with 5 years of Senior Healthcare Management or Non-profit experience working with FQHC's. Fundraising and grant writing experience is a must. Bilingual is required.
Job Responsibilities of the Health Care Deputy Director:
- Reviews and directs management in the implementation of all state laws and regulations affecting division programs; initiates and recommends procedures, guidelines and operating standards to meet state mandates and directives.
- Coordinates and participates in a variety of staff, departments and agency meetings; prepares and presents reports
- Responds to and resolves difficult, sensitive and/or problematic patient, client or community complaints or inquiries.
- Serves as acting director in the absence of the agency Director as required.
- Serves as the Director of specific program areas as required for operational purposes as assigned by the CEO.
Minimum Requirements of the FQHC Deputy Director
- Senior management experience minimum 5 years in health care or non profit / FQHC
Master’s Degree – Health Care Management, Business Administration, MPH
- Solid grant and fundraising experience
Bilingual is preferred
