Job Description:

Currently looking for a Certified Hand Therapist to fill an opening with Hospital setting located around the Central Vermont area. Interested candidates must have Hand Therapy Certification. Interested candidate should also have a valid Vermont OT/PT license, or the ability to obtain.  

Requirements of the Occupational Therapist

  • This Certified Hand Therapy role is open to with Certification only
  • Hospital outpatient setting
  • Active, or pending Vermont license  
  • Full-time, Direct-hire Opportunity

Responsibilities of The Certified Hand Therapist (CHT)

  • The Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) is responsible for evaluating and treatment to restore function and prevent disability following disease, injury or loss of a body part in upper extremity/hand dysfunction.
  • The CHT develops a plan of treatment with measurable functional and rehabilitative goals to restore independence and functional capacity for all patients from child to geriatric.
  • The CHT posses advanced skills and training to fabricate splints, other custom restorative devices and ergonomics.
  • The CHT may also require to provide general discipline specific therapy services to meet facility patient care requirements.
