Job Description:

Our client located in the Frederick Maryland area is looking for a permanent Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join 8 Board Certified Psychiatrists and 8 NPs in a large healthcare system. Live in a family friendly community, great schools, and 1.5 hours from Washington D.C., and 90 Minutes to Baltimore.

Responsibilities for the Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist

• 100% Inpatient
• Most common patient cases are mood, anxiety, and conduct disorders
• See an average of 15 patients per day
• Call is 2X month during the week and 9 weekends a year
• Weekday call is by phone twice per month and taking call from admissions to review/admit
• Weekend call includes rounding in the hospital on Saturday and Sunday and taking admission calls by phone

Minimum Requirements for the Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist

• Active Maryland License or in Process
• Board Certified/Eligible upon graduation
• Adult Psychiatrist is fine if they are willing to see patients as young as 14
