Job Description:

Our client is seeking an experienced Communications/Marketing/Public Relations Manager for their hospital. This role is with a Non-Profit Hospital in Beautiful Northern California. Knowledge of the healthcare industry is required as well as 3+ years of developing and managing public relations programs.   

 

Responsibilities of the Communications/Marketing/Public Relations Manager:

  • Engagement of a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Working with leaders to maximize opportunities to engage, inform and educate employees and stakeholders about the mission of work for the hospital.
  • Serves as professional staff liaison to assigned committees and task forces
  • This position will utilize social and digital media, traditional media outlets, newsletter/direct mail, events and outreach campaigns to increase community awareness of services offered

 Requirements of the Communications/Marketing Manager

  • Minimum of 3+ years experience in developing and managing public relations programs
  • Experience in the area of traditional and new media
  • Knowledge of the health care industry
  • Must be able to work under deadlines
  • Present before an audience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
