Responsibilities of the Histocompatibility Technologist:

• Abide by laboratory protocol and procedures.
• Must be comfortable with the workload that comes with larger facilities
• Recognizes unusual results and difficulties while performing supervising or implementing procedures and makes required corrections.
• Able to use various types of machinery, lab equipment, and complex computer programs to perform the test.

Requirements of the Tissue Typing Specialist Technologist:

• 2+ years of experience in histocompatibility.
• ASCP or ABHI certification
• BS degree in Medical Technology or related science.
