Lead Medical Assistant – Chattanooga

Our client located in the Chattanooga, Tennesse area is seeking a Lead Medical Assistant to join their growing team. This is a full-time permanent placement opportunity that offers competitive wages. The ideal candidate has two (2) years of Medical Assistant experience, certified as an MA, and phlebotomy experience.  

Job Responsibilities of the Lead Medical Assistant:

• Aids in the examination and treatment of patients, under the direction of a physician or nurse in Medical Centers.
• This is a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant with outpatient primary care or urgent care experience, who holds additional training and certification in Peripheral Intravenous catheter (IV line) placement and is a superuser of company policies and procedures.
• Acts as a liaison between management and staff.
• Serves as a role model and preceptor to other Medical Assistants.

Minimum Job Requirements for the Lead Medical Assistant:

• Two years of recent experience as an MA   
• Certified as a Medical Assistant
• Phlebotomy Certification
• Fluent in Spanish (preferred)
