Medical Laboratory Technician - POC

Our client in New York City is seeking a Medical Lab Technician - Point of Care (POC) to join their laboratory family. Candidate should have New York State Laboratory Technician licensure from NYSED and at least 1 year of Laboratory experience.     

Responsibilities of the Medical Laboratory Technician - POC    

• Abide by laboratory protocol and procedures.
• Must be comfortable with the workload that comes with larger facilities
• Provides information for patient diagnosis and treatment by performing laboratory tests in all general lab areas.
• Able to use various types of machinery, lab equipment, and complex computer programs to perform the test.

Requirements of the Medical Laboratory Technician - POC   

• Trained in an accredited MLT program
• Must have NYS Laboratory Technician License
• Comfortable working in all areas of the lab.
• Day Shift   
• At least 1 year of experience
