Job Description:

Our client located in rural Southern Oregon is currently seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. This role is with a Non-Profit Hospital located in a beautiful location near mountains where the outdoor activities are endless. Must be licensed as Nuclear Med Tech by Oregon Board and have Nuclear Medicine experience. Responsibilities of the Nuclear Medicine Technologist:

  • Selects and operates equipment, selecting proper technical factors on an individual patient basis.   Serves all age groups.
  • Processes, duplicates, and formats studies, as necessary.
  • Reports equipment failure/malfunction to specified service personnel.
  • Performs quality control tests on all equipment.
  • Maintains adequate records of radioisotope receipts, use, storage, and disposal in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
  • Adheres to prescribed standards for Radiation Safety.

Requirements of the Nuclear Medicine Technologist:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Nuclear Medicine experience
  • Oregon State License eligible
