Job Description:

Our client near Seattle, Washington area is seeking a full-time permanent Phlebotomist/Processor to join their laboratory family. Interested candidates must have (or be able to obtain) a Washington State Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist license.   Experience is preferred but entry-level candidates will be considered.


Responsibilities of the Phlebotomist:

  • Perform phlebotomy following standard procedures and protocols.  
  • Receive samples from clients and other sites
  • Act as collector for forensic chain of custody drug screens following established protocols for dealing with integrity issues of forensic drug collections.  
  • Understand and adhere to HIPAA policies, procedures and regulations to assure patient confidentiality.  


Requirements of the Phlebotomist:

  • Previous training/certification from a phlebotomy training program preferred.
  • HIV certification preferred  
  • Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist Certification (must have or be eligible to obtain)
