Our client located near Salmon, Idaho is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join their team. The ideal candidate has one year of experience as a PMHNP, is eligible to obtain their Idaho license, is comfortable working autonomously and has ties to the area.  

Job Responsibilities of the PMHNP:

• Working directly with the primary care group to serve the psych needs of our community to include full prescribing responsibilities and med management.
• Will need a broad spectrum of experience serving children to geriatric.
• Possible opportunity for hospital services integration however, this is not required at this time.
• Gauging patients' psychiatric states.
• Collaborating on psychiatric intervention plans.
• Administering psychotropic and similar medications.
• Monitoring adherence to non-medicinal treatment regimens.
• Removing potentially harmful and triggering environmental features.
• Schedule is Monday through Friday 8am – 5pm.
• 4-5 day work week

Minimum Job Requirements for the PMHNP

• New Graduates will be considered
• Ties to the area
• Must be certified or scheduled to take the certification exam
• Experience or interest in rural health preferred
