PMHNP

Our client located in the greater Pittsburgh area is seeking a full-time, permanent PMHNP to join their team. Enjoy working with collegial staff, with an outpatient ONLY, Monday - Friday schedule (no call or weekends). This opportunity has 100% employer-funded medical and dental benefits plus generous PTO and 401k match. The ideal candidate is board certified and has one year of experience in treating psychiatric patients.  

Responsibilities of the PMHNP:

• Provides direct patient care within the scope of psychiatry
• Outpatient only  
• Examines, diagnoses, and treats acute and chronic mental health conditions.
• Uses current evidence-based guidelines in creating diagnostic and treatment plans; utilizing tools such as “Up to Date”.   
• Maintains accurate electronic health records of patients and completes documentation in a timely manner.

Requirements of the PMHNP:

• Experience with behavioral health at least 1 year
• Current PA licensure or eligible to obtain
• Ties or reason to be in the area
