Job Description:

Our client located in the Killington Vermont area, is looking for a permanent Psychiatrist  to join a community health center. Located approximately 65 miles (105 km) north of the Massachusetts  state line and 20 miles (32 km) east of the New York state line.  Nestled along the largest ski area in the Eastern U.S. this community has all the winter sport, and outdoor activities you can desire. Offering great schools systems, and a variety of cultural activities, this is a wonderful area to practice and live.

Responsibilities of the Psychiatrist

• Outpatient only
• Supervision of a Nurse Practitioner
• Coordinating plan of care with primary care providers and providing them with psychiatric consults, working collaboratively with our behavioral health team, completing diagnostic evaluations and on going medical management services
• Largest FQHC of Northern New England

Minimum Requirements of the Psychiatrist

• Vermont license or eligible to obtain   
• Board Certified or eligible with intent to become certified  
• Maintain active certifications
• Work collegially with both support and professional Medical Staff
