Job Description:

Our client located in Southeast Alabama is seeking a Pulmonary Critical Care Physician to join a well-established private group with 4 other Physicians. The group provides service in their outpatient office and at two Hospitals located 15 minutes apart. This will be an excellent opportunity to practice with a collegial group of Healthcare professionals.


Located in Southeastern Alabama this is a warm community with plenty of Southern Charm. There are plenty of lakes and rivers, and the town is less than 100 miles to the Gulf coast beaches. Recognized as a “playful city” with 19 parks, 6 public swimming pools this town offers plenty of outdoor fun and recreation. Responsibilities of the Pulmonary Critical Care Intensivist Physician

  • Physicians rotate duties daily weekly; one week in clinic, one week dedicated to ICU, and one week providing inpatient consults/procedures
  • 1:4 Shared call
  • Office hours mon through Thursday 8 am to 5 pm, and closed on Friday
  • 24/7 respiratory, anesthesia, and radiology support provided at both Hospitals


Minimum Requirements of the Pulmonary Critical Care Physician

  • Alabama Medical license or ability to obtain
  • BE/BC in Pulmonary Critical Care
  • All current certifications active
