Job Description:
A nonprofit hospital located in a city in northern California is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to fill a full-time permanent position in the Radiology department. This Diagnostic Technologist may also float to remote locations as needed. This facility is focused on quality patient care and desires a tech with previous experience as a Diagnostic Technologist. Responsibilities of Radiologic Technologist:
- Performs imaging procedures at a technical level not requiring direct supervision
- Perform all general diagnostic radiographic exams and may also be cross-trained in other imaging modalities
- The Diagnostic Technologist operates X-ray equipment, manipulates digital images, prepares the patient’s room, equipment, supplies, and contrast media
Requirements of Radiologic Technologist:
- Two years of experience in diagnostic x-ray in an acute care setting
- Current full Certificate of Radiologic Technology issued by the Department of Health Services, State of California (CRT) (to be obtained within 6 months of hire)
- Current CPR Certification
- Fluoroscopy Permit (to be obtained within 6 months of hire)
- Current ARRT
