Job Description:
Our client located near Oxford, NC is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join their team. Enjoy a full-time permanent position that offers a schedule of Tuesday - Friday 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM. The ideal candidate can start within a few weeks, ARRT (R) Certified, and has one year of experience. New graduates may be considered.
Job Responsibilities of the Rad Tech:
- Provide safe and effective radiology services in the Radiology Department, emergency room, surgery and other areas using portable techniques.
- Transports Patients to and from radiology department.
- Prepare all radiographs for interpretation, with minimal ordering charging and documentation errors
- Performs all required Quality Assurance procedures and daily check off sheets as needed
- Performs all necessary clerical duties in the department.
- Responsible for radiation protection for patients and personnel in the department
Minimum Job Requirements of the Rad Tech:
- Able to work Tuesday - Friday day shift!
- ARRT (R) Certified
- One year of experience - preferred
