Job Description:

We are a growing law firm in Davie seeking a bilingual office assistant. The ideal candidate will be professional, organized, dedicated to client service, able to handle high-volume calls, bilingual, and effective oral and written communication skills. Experience preferred but willing to train. Must be fluent in English & Spanish.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Making copies, faxes, and handling incoming mail
- Ensure that every claim is properly documented and being processed
- Answering and handling phone calls & emails from clients, insurance company, adjusters & mortgage companies.
- Answering phones, providing status updates
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
-Must be competent and proficient in the use of Word, Microsoft Office, Excel and Outlook
-Must have the ability to type accurately 50 WPM
-Must possess EXCEPTIONAL communication and customer service skills when speaking with clients
-Must have an aggressive take-charge attitude
-Thoroughness and attention to detail
-Excellent organizational skills
-Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
-Proactive and results-oriented
-Must demonstrate a sense of urgency
-Must be a team player and personable
-Must be extremely comfortable & skilled in using technology and automation

-Fluent in English and Spanish
-Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred but not required:

-Recent experience in a professional office environment
-Experience with mortgage company, bank, or other mortgage processing

Hours are full-time, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (37.5 hours) with a one hour lunch.
