Job Description:
Currently looking for an experienced permanent onsite Nurse Director to oversee Risk and Quality in a well-known acute care hospital. This is in a desirable city in Oregon. Work in a mid-size hospital. Interested candidates should have a minimum of 3 in the acute care facility with clear working knowledge of hospital operations. 2+ years of Quality Management experience. BSN is required. MSN degree is preferred.
Responsibilities of the Quality/Risk RN Director
- Reports to the CNO
- Oversees the planning, administration and monitoring of consistent readiness of all quality management, regulatory requirements and quality improvement processes.
- The Director will oversee and coordinate all hospital effort to monitor and maintain compliance with all regulatory, state, federal government and Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organization Standards.
Requirements of the Quality/Risk Nurse Director
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing
- BSN is required, MSN is preferred
- Minimum of 3 years working in an acute care facility with clear working knowledge of general hospital operations and state requirements.
- Minimum of two years experience in Quality Management preferred.
