Job Description:
Our client located in beautiful Colorado is seeking an experience RN Manager to oversee Operating Room/Surgical Services. Reports to the Chief Clinical Officer. This is with a small critical access facility. Minimum of 5+ years of recent OR/Surgical Services Nursing experience is required. Prior leadership experience is preferred.
Job Responsibilities of the OR RN Manager:
The Surgical Services/OR Nursing Manager oversees the department in staffing, professional development, and adherence to protocols. This Leader will work closely to ensure quality measures are met and emergencies are handled efficiently and effectively. When a new employee is hired, the Manager trains and advises the staff member. This person also encourages professional development.
Minimum Job Requirements for the RN Manager:
- Minimum of 5 years of recent OR nursing experience is required.
- Prior leadership experience is preferred.
- Graduate from school of nursing with bachelor's degree or to be obtained within 2 years of acceptance.
