Job Description:
We are seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) with a strong interest in Sleep Medicine to join our hospital-employed team. Work in a state-of-the-art Sleep Center, the first in Vermont to achieve national accreditation from the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, featuring four private, fully equipped sleep rooms designed to monitor patient sleep patterns.
Under the direction of the Medical Director and collaborating closely with certified sleep educators, the Advanced Practice Provider will provide exceptional patient care, assess and treat sleep disorders, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives. Responsibilities of the Sleep Medicine NP/PA
- Obtain detailed patient histories and perform comprehensive physical examinations.
- Provide healthcare services in accordance with established standards, procedures, and practices.
- Educate patients on therapeutic regimens, home care, and health maintenance.
- Evaluate patient outcomes and consult with other specialists as necessary.
- Maintain accurate medical records and write progress notes.
- Arrange consultations, referrals, and preventative health services for long-term patients.
- Work closely with certified sleep educators and contribute to a culture of excellence in patient care.
Minimum Requirements for the Sleep Medicine NP/PA positions
- One (1) year of experience as an NP/PA with Sleep Medicine interest, preffered.
- Vermont licensed or eligible to obtain
