Job Description:
Our client located in the state of Vermont is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant/340B Analyst to work in the Hospital/Acute Care Setting. Bachelor's degree with a major in accounting or business is required. 3+ years of accounting and 340B Analyst experience is required. Relocation is being offered! Client is setting up interviews now!
Responsibilities of the Sr. Accountant:
Process select accounts payable transactions as well as monitor related online reporting for selected vendors.
Create and post journal entries in an accurate and timely fashion.
Manage the reconciliation of cash receipts coming in from multiple sources across the NVRH organization. Utilize excel templates to organize and flag all exceptions; performing immediate follow-up to resolve discrepancies.
Prepare bank reconciliation.
Prepare invoices and perform collection duties related to our “Miscellaneous” receivables.
Create and maintain detailed analysis on a number of key balance sheets and expense accounts in order to ensure accuracy for financial reporting and budget preparations.
Process select accounts payable transactions as well as monitor related online reporting for selected vendors.
Maintain the Fixed Asset and associated depreciation schedules on the Meditech Software System. Prepare analysis and breakdown on all Construction in Progress projects. Insure proper recording of new purchases and disposals.
Work with the Accountant II (Payroll) on payroll-related items. This includes taking a lead role in reviewing all 941 tax returns as well as verification on all tax deposits and cash transfers to fund the payroll account.
- Supervise and control general accounting functions, budget and reimbursement activities and all statistical information gathering and reporting.
Requirements of the Sr. Accountant/340B Analyst:
Bachelor's degree with a major in accounting or business is required.
3+ years of accounting and 340B Analyst experience is required.
