Job Description:

A rural, coastal health system in Alaska is seeking a new Executive VP/Chief Operating Officer/COO.   This position would report to the CEO.   Robust salary, relocation assistance, and FREE HEALTHCARE are being offered.   Master's Degree with 5+ years of progressive experience in Healthcare Administration or Bachelor's with 10 years of experience.    Prior tribal experience is required!


Qualifications for the Vice President/COO Position:

  • Master's Degree with 5+ years of progressive experience in Healthcare Administration or Bachelor's with 10 years of experience.
  • Prior tribal experience is required!
  • Working experience in rural healthcare, hospital, nursing home, community service and governmental agencies including Indian Health Service.    

Job Responsibilities for the VP/Chief Operating Officer:

  • Reports to the CEO.

  • Reports corporate information to the Board of Directors and its committees.

  • Developing business plans for all areas supervised.

    Ensuring that communication within areas of responsibility flow both directions.
