Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant / Outpatient Clinic
A community-focused healthcare organization in Southwest Washington is seeking a full-time Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a permanent outpatient clinic opportunity.
This position offers a balanced schedule with four 10-hour shifts per week, no weekends, no holidays, and no emergency department call. The role is ideal for an APP who enjoys outpatient cardiology, collaborative care, and supporting cardiac services in a rural Pacific Northwest setting with access to both outdoor recreation and nearby metro amenities.
Job Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Provide outpatient cardiology care in a clinic-based setting
- Support the cardiology clinic alongside a cardiologist and another cardiology Nurse Practitioner
- Assist with patient evaluation, follow-up care, education, and ongoing management of cardiac conditions
- Support cardiac stress testing services, including echo, pharmacologic, and nuclear stress procedures
- Work with cardiac rehab patients and help support continuity of care
- Collaborate with cardiology, primary care, rehab, imaging, and other clinical teams
- Document care accurately and communicate clearly with patients, families, and referring providers
- Contribute to a patient-centered, community-based cardiology program
Schedule
- Full-time, permanent position
- Four 10-hour days per week
- Outpatient clinic only
- No weekends

- No emergency department call
Minimum Qualifications
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Active or eligible for Washington state licensure.
- Cardiology experience preferred.
- Experience with outpatient cardiology, stress testing, or cardiac rehab is a plus.
- Strong clinical judgment and patient communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a collaborative rural healthcare setting.
- Ability to support a busy outpatient cardiology clinic and related cardiac programs.
