· Conduct comprehensive neurological assessments
· Develop individualized treatment plans
· Prescribe medications, and order and interpret diagnostic tests such as MRIs and CT scans.
· Collaborate closely with neurologists, neurosurgeons, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
· Assist with pre- and post-operative care, educate patients and families about neurological conditions, and participate in ongoing professional development within a supportive environment
Requirements of the Neurology NP Opportunity
· Must be a graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
· Experience in neurology or a related specialty is highly preferred, however, new graduates will be considered
· OR NP License or eligible to obtain
· Compassion, adaptability, and a commitment to evidence-based practice
· Possess advanced clinical assessment skills, in-depth knowledge of neurology treatments and interventions, and strong communication abilities for patient education and counseling.
