Currently looking for Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to fill an opening within an outpatient setting located around the Tyler, TX area. Interested candidates should be have at least an Associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant with a passion to work within an inpatient setting. Interested candidate should also have a valid COTA license and willing, or eligible, to obtain an TX license. Very competitive compensation package with sign-on bonus and relocation assistance available!

 

Responsibilities of the Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)

  • Examining new clients and, with the supervision of an occupational therapist, develop a plan of care.
  • The role of the COTA extends beyond helping patients to move their bodies, it also involves encouraging and motivating them to live fit and healthy even after treatment. 
  • Mobility to work in a typical clinical environment, stamina to remain standing or sitting for extended periods of time.

 

Requirements of the Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)

  • The Inpatient setting is open to New graduates from an accredited Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) program
  • Active Texas COTA license
  • Full-time, Direct-hire Opportunity
  • Day shifts
