A respected outpatient pain management group is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join its collaborative care team in Northern Maine. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide outpatient pain management services in a hospital-affiliated clinic setting
- Work closely with physicians and support staff to assess, diagnose, and manage patients with chronic pain
- Maintain a safe, evidence-based, and patient-centered approach to pain treatment
- Conduct evaluations, write prescriptions, order diagnostics, and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Engage in shared decision-making and patient education
- Document care accurately in the EMR and ensure compliance with all regulatory and ethical standards
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Certified by a national board (e.g., ANCC, AANP)
- Must have or be eligible for full prescriptive authority in Maine
- Current DEA license or DEA eligible
- Experience in pain management preferred but not required
- Motivated, compassionate, and committed to interdisciplinary care
- Strong critical thinking and independent clinical decision-making skills
Compensation & Schedule:
Full-Time Option (4 days/week – 8-hour shifts split across two locations):
- Annual Salary: $120,000 – $150,000
