Our client located south of Milwaukee, WI is looking for 2 certified/ experienced Neurosurgical PA's to join their expanding practice locations. They are committed to providing compassionate, state-of-the-art care with patient-focused relationships. The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of surgical experience, however, new graduates with a passion for neurosurgery will be considered.  

 

Responsibilities of the Neurosurgical PA

  • Provide critical support to neurosurgeons, including taking patient history, helping to diagnose conditions, and discussing treatment options with patients.
  • Perform physical exams and CT scans using equipment such as an MRI machine, as well as doing blood work and other laboratory diagnostics under the supervision of a physician.
  • Support neurosurgeons during surgery, perform a variety of follow-up responsibilities and assist with community outreach and education.
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday  
  • 1-2 OR days per week / 2-3 clinic days per week
  • 1 night of call per week (via phone)
  • 1 weekend of call per month (via phone)

 

Minimum Requirements of the Neurosurgical PA:

  • Certified Physician Assistant
  • Active Wisconsin license or eligible to obtain
