Our client located in Northwest Indiana is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner to join their team. This is an opportunity to provide proactive, preventative care and manage chronic conditions for an underserved population. The ideal candidate is a Family Nurse Practitioner with 1-3 years of experience. New graduates with prior experience as an RN in an urgent or critical care setting will be considered.
Responsibilities of the Family NP:
- 100% outpatient position
- Monday - Friday schedule, no nights or weekends
- Performing physical exams and patient observations.
- Recording patients' medical histories and symptoms.
- Creating patient care plans and contributing to existing ones.
- Ordering, administering and analyzing diagnostic tests.
- Monitoring and operating medical equipment.
- Diagnosing health issues.
Minimum Requirements of the Family NP:
- Active IN license or eligible to obtain
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner
- Ability to work collegially with both Professional Medical and support staff
