Must be registered ARRT in Radiology and have one year of experience in diagnostic and one year in Interventional Radiology.
Job Responsibilities for the Interventional Rad Tech:
- Performs specialized radiography and fluoroscopic coverage of interventional and angiographic procedures under the direction of a physician
- Explains the procedure to the patient and preps the patient for the procedure
- Circulates during the procedure and maintains responsibility for patient comfort
- Records and processes hemodynamic reports, contrast media records and charges promptly and accurately
Minimum Requirements for the Interventional Rad Tech:
- ARRT certification in Radiology
- BLS
- One year of experience in diagnostic and one year in Interventional Radiology
- Current CPR
