Our client located near Silver City, NM is seeking a Physicist to join their Radiation Oncology team in a mid-size acute care hospital. This is a permanent full-time permanent position that is seeking a candidate with two years of clinical experience, IMRT experience, LDR/HDR experience preferred.

Requirements of a Physicist
- Master’s Degree in Physics or related field
- Two years of clinical experience
- IMRT experience, LDR/HDR experience preferred
- Must be Board Certified, American Board of Radiology or equivalent
Responsibilities of a Physicist
- Responsible for the quality control program in the Radiation Therapy Department
- Calibration of all equipment
- Chart Checks
- Radiation safety functions and maintaining all records related to such activities and assisting the Dosimetrist in treatment planning
