Clinic Pharmacist

M-F Dayshift.

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacist to join a patient-centered healthcare organization in the state of Washington. Job Responsibilities of the Pharmacist

As a member of the pharmacy team, you will:

  • Dispensing and Compliance:
  • Accurately dispense medications in compliance with all state and federal regulations, including DEA, PQAC, and HRSA requirements.
  • Adhere to policies regarding the 340B drug pricing program to ensure eligible patients receive medications appropriately.
  • Patient Consultation and Education:
  • Provide patient consultations to ensure safe and effective medication use.
  • Conduct therapeutic interchanges and communicate with providers regarding formulary adherence.
  • Supervision and Training:
  • Oversee and train pharmacy personnel, ensuring compliance with scope of practice.
  • Precept pharmacy students and participate in teaching programs for pharmacy technicians.
  • Pharmacy Operations:
  • Manage inventory, monitor controlled substances, and assist in the selection and storage of medications.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, including allergies, medical conditions, and treatment history.
  • Community Outreach:
  • Engage in outreach programs and contribute to the health and wellness of the local population.

Requirements for the Pharmacist Position

  • Education:
  • Completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited program.
  • Licensure:
  • Active Washington State Pharmacist License with no restrictions.
