Currently looking for Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to fill an opening within a SNF setting located around the Springfield, Missouri area. Interested candidates should be have at least an Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assistant with a passion to work within an SNF setting. Interested candidate should also have a valid PTA license and willing, or eligible, to obtain a MO license. Very competitive compensation package and new grads are welcomed to applied.
Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist Assistant
- Examining new clients and, with the supervision of a physical therapist, develop a plan of care.
- The role of the Physical Therapist Assistant extends beyond helping patients to move their bodies, it also involves encouraging and motivating them to live fit and healthy even after treatment.
- Mobility to work in a typical clinical environment, stamina to remain standing or sitting for extended periods of time.
Requirements of the Physical Therapist Assistant
- The SNF Hospital setting is open to New graduates from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant programs
- Active Missouri Physical Therapy Assistant license
- Full-time, Direct-hire Opportunity
