A growing occupational health organization in Southeast New Mexico is seeking a full-time Radiologic Technologist to join its outpatient clinical team.
This direct-hire opportunity offers a steady weekday schedule, low imaging volume, and the chance to work within a specialized occupational medicine environment supporting industrial and energy-sector clients.
This role is ideal for a Rad Tech who enjoys variety beyond traditional imaging responsibilities. In addition to X-ray duties, the team is seeking someone comfortable supporting broader occupational health workflows, including drug testing and patient intake-related responsibilities. Candidates with prior Medical Assistant and/or Phlebotomy experience are highly encouraged to apply.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging within an outpatient occupational health setting
- Support patient intake, workflow coordination, and general clinic operations
- Assist with occupational medicine services including drug testing and related screening procedures
- Maintain accurate imaging documentation and patient records
- Collaborate closely with providers and clinical staff to support efficient patient care delivery
- Ensure imaging equipment and clinical areas remain organized and compliant with safety standards
- Communicate clearly with patients regarding imaging procedures and next steps
- Participate in onboarding/training activities, including initial training at corporate headquarters if required
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Active Radiologic Technologist licensure/certification eligible for practice in New Mexico
- ARRT certification preferred
- Prior outpatient, urgent care, occupational medicine, or industrial health experience preferred
- Phlebotomy and/or Medical Assistant experience strongly preferred
- Comfortable working within a multi-functional outpatient clinical environment
- Strong communication and patient interaction skills
- Ability to adapt between imaging and broader occupational health support responsibilities
Schedule
- Full-time position averaging approximately 40 hours/week
- Day shift schedule
- Additional callback opportunities may be available for candidates seeking extra income
Additional Details
- Imaging volume is relatively light, averaging approximately 20–25 X-ray studies per month
- Occupational health and industrial client activity remains consistently active
