Job Responsibilities:
- Perform routine dental cleanings, scaling and root planing (SRP) as needed, and polishing
- Take and process digital dental radiographs to assist in diagnosing oral health concerns
- Evaluate oral health and provide preventive care education to patients of all ages
- Collaborate with the dentist to create and implement effective treatment plans
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist in maintaining a smooth clinical workflow
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, infection control, and HIPAA protocols
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree in Dental Hygiene (required)
- Current Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in New Jersey
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience with Dentrix preferred, but not required
- Enthusiasm for patient care and education in a supportive team environment
