Gastroenterologist / Outpatient GI & Endoscopy Clinic

A healthcare organization in Southwest Washington is seeking a Gastroenterologist for a full-time, permanent opportunity in a modern outpatient GI and endoscopy clinic.

This role offers a strong combination of meaningful clinical work and quality of life, with a four-day workweek, no weekends, and no call. Job Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Provide consultative and procedural care for patients with gastrointestinal and hepatology conditions
  • Perform endoscopic and GI procedures, including EGD, colonoscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy, esophageal manometry, pH studies, and related procedures
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with a broad range of digestive health conditions
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in an outpatient GI and endoscopy clinic setting
  • Support safe, high-quality procedural care through documentation, follow-up, and care coordination
  • Participate in quality and safety initiatives related to GI and endoscopy services
  • Contribute to departmental and organizational initiatives that support patient access, clinical quality, and community health

Minimum Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree
  • Completion of an accredited Gastroenterology fellowship
  • Board certified in Gastroenterology
  • Active Washington medical license or ability to obtain
  • Current clinical competence in Gastroenterology
  • Strong procedural skills and clinical judgment
  • Patient-centered approach to care
  • Interest in rural, community-based, or mission-driven healthcare

Schedule

  • Full-time position
  • Four 10-hour shifts per week
  • No weekends
  • No call

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary range: $606,000 to $620,000 annually
