Our client near Sanford, North Carolina, is seeking a full-time permanent Laboratory Manager to join their family. Must have a minimum of 10 years of supervisory experience in the Laboratory, extensive knowledge of analytical Chemistry, Microbiology, Hematology, Pathology, and other laboratory technical departments. Responsibilities for this Laboratory Manager:
- Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the laboratory in accordance with established hospital and department policies and standards.
- Lead role in the strategic planning process and implementation of initiatives focused on enhanced performance and workflow redesign.
- Responsibilities include providing expertise in scientific knowledge, leadership, and planning to the subordinate staff in laboratory operations in a cost-effective and efficient manner consistent with the needs of the department and the clients that it serves.
Requirements for the Laboratory Manager:
- Minimum of 10 years of supervisory experience in the Laboratory.
- Experience in coding laboratory procedures and knowledge in Medicare compliance regulations.
- Extensive knowledge of analytical Chemistry, Microbiology, Hematology, Pathology, and other laboratory technical departments.
- Bachelor's Degree Clinical Laboratory Technology
- ASCP Certification
