Our client near the Columbia River in Washington State is seeking a full-time permanent 4-days a week Nurse Director to oversee Perioperative Services. You will oversee both the surgery department and surgery center. Previous surgery department management experience with knowledge of surgery/clinic billing and coding concepts.
Details of the Perioperative Services Director position:
- Oversight of surgery department and surgery clinic
- 16 FTEs
- 1 OR and 1 procedure room
- 3200 surgical clinic visits last year
Requirements of the Nurse Director:
- Previous surgery management experience
- Able to perform RN roles in surgery such as PACU, although will not be often
- Demonstrated ability to build
