Our client in Nebraska is seeking a full-time permanent Pharmacist to work in the hospital setting. $20K Sign-on working a dayshift starting between the hours of 7am-9am. Rotate weekends 1-5 to 1-8 weekends.
BS or Pharm D, previous hospital experience is preferred, not mandatory.
Responsibilities of the Staff Hospital Pharmacist:
- Order entry into Paragon software system, maintenance of inventory, preparation of non-sterile and sterile compounds including chemotherapy, filling for Hospice program, performing all clinical duties (i.e. chart reviews, medication reconciliation, patient education, pharmacokinetic dosing, renal dosing checks), managing technician staff as needed, and precepting pharmacy students.
- Counseling patients on medications at discharge.
Requirements of the Pharmacist:
- BS or PharmD
- Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred, not required
