Our client located in western Massachusetts is seeking an Infection Control & Employee Safety RN Manager for a Federally Qualified Health Center. The ideal candidate has recent Ambulatory/Clinic Employee Safety/Infection Control Management level experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- The direct oversight of the Infection Control/Patient Safety program.
- Responsible for new hire and current staff immunizations and vaccinations data collection and maintenance.
a comprehensive program to improve clinical outcomes, enhance value, and minimize patient harm. - Systematically collects, analyzes, and interprets health data in order to plan, implement, evaluate, and disseminate to appropriate public health practices.
- Ensures that existing standards and guidelines of applicable professional organizations and regulatory and governmental agencies are incorporated into the program.
Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum of three years’ experience in an ambulatory setting is preferred. Recent experience in the medical office/outpatient preferred.
- Experience with EHR preferred (particularly Athena)
- Prior experience in healthcare Infection Control and Employee Safety.
