Our client is seeking a permanent Cath Lab Staff Nurse at a well-known hospital located in beautiful coastal Delaware. Sign-on and Relocation is being offered. Prior Cath Lab nursing experience required.
Job Responsibilities of the Cath Lab Registered Nurse
- Patient education
- Monitoring vital signs
- Charting patient information
- Examining the patient before and after the procedure
- Evaluating sedation
- Look for signs of infection
- Prep patients for procedures
- Assist with procedures
- Respond to emergencies
- Provide discharge information
- Teach patients about how to live a heart-healthy lifestyle.
Requirements of the Cath Lab Nurse
- 1 year prior Cath Lab experience required.
- BLS
- Proficiency in acute-care nursing, knowledge, and skills
