Clinical Laboratory Manager

Responsibilities of the Clinical Laboratory Manager
- Administrative oversight of daily operations, including planning and assigning work, performance appraisals, and disciplinary action
- Monitoring of local, state, and federal compliance to ensure lab remains in compliance
- Oversees annual budget, evaluating for efficiency and cost effectiveness
- Includes building lab dictionaries, training of lab staff, interfacing the LIS with other Hospital Information Systems.
Requirements of the Clinical Laboratory Manager
Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or related biological science
- ASCP or eligible
- Five years of previous supervisory experience of a minimum of 10 FTEs, 2 years of supervisory experience in healthcare
- Active MT(ASCP) or MLS(ASCP) Certification
