Hospital in Coastal Northern California is seeking a permanent Director of Pharmacy. Bachelor's or a Pharm. D degree is required. 5+ years of management/oversight of the pharmacy department in the healthcare/hospital setting. Pharmacy license in the state of California. Client is setting up interviews now!
Responsibilities of the Director of Pharmacy

Coordinates and administers the pharmaceutical services for hospital and clinics, and emergency services.

Establishes and supervises record-keeping, auditing, and other drug control procedures as required by County, State, and Federal law.

Maintains formulary, and advises hospital staff of additions or deletions.

Represents the pharmacy on various committees, staff meetings and professional meetings.

Supervises staff of pharmacy both professional and non-professional including interviewing, hiring, orienting, evaluating and scheduling.
Requirements of the Director of Pharmacy
- Bachelor's or a Pharm. D degree is required.
- 5+ years of management/oversight of the pharmacy department in the healthcare/hospital setting.
- Pharmacy license in the state of California.
