Job Responsibilities
As a Mammogram Technologist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality diagnostic mammography services in accordance with regulatory and safety standards. Your key duties will include:
- Performing both screening and diagnostic mammograms with precision, accuracy, and sensitivity.
- Conducting thorough patient interviews and ensuring proper identification, history collection, and positioning for optimal imaging.
- Preparing and calibrating mammography equipment while adhering to daily and weekly quality control standards.
- Optimizing imaging settings and working closely with radiologists to ensure diagnostic clarity, especially when abnormalities are identified.
- Maintaining meticulous records of procedures and ensuring compliance with HIPAA and regulatory protocols.
- Collaborating with physicians, technologists, and administrative staff to support seamless patient care and follow-up.
- Upholding all MQSA, ACR, and FDA standards and contributing to ongoing quality assurance processes.
- Supporting additional departmental duties and cross-functional collaboration as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
Education & Credentials:
- Associate’s degree (or higher) in Mammography or a related radiologic technology field from an accredited program.
- Active ARRT Certification in Mammography.
- Certified Radiologic Technologist (ARRT Registered).
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a diagnostic imaging facility or hospital setting.
- Proficiency in mammographic positioning, breast anatomy, and interpreting imaging results for technical adequacy.
Skills & Attributes:
- Strong knowledge of breast imaging protocols, equipment, and compliance standards.
- Excellent attention to detail, documentation accuracy, and organizational abilities.
- Compassionate, patient-focused mindset with strong communication skills.
- Proficiency in using eCW, PACS, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred; Creole is a plus.

- Employment Type: Full-time
- Location: Based in Lake Worth / Lantana, with flexibility to work in nearby centers within Palm Beach County.
- Schedule: Monday–Friday (day shifts); no travel required outside the region.
