Our client, located in the state of California, is looking for a permanent Inpatient Hospital Pharmacist to work a desirable 10-hour shift. $10K Sign-on Bonus is being offered. Ideal candidates should have their current California Pharmacist license. Graduation from an ASHP-accredited residency or 5+ years of recent hospital inpatient experience is preferred.
Responsibilities of the Inpatient Pharmacist
* Maintains security of pharmacy, narcotic vault, and prescription medications within the pharmacy.
* Demonstrates responsibility for the assessment, treatment, or care appropriate to the ages of the patients served.
*Consistently documents patient safety concerns in the hospital intranet event reporting system.
*Demonstrates an ongoing commitment to personal development in ways that benefit the department and the Facility.
* Demonstrates an ongoing commitment to professional development in ways that benefit the department and the Hospital.
* Demonstrates ability to foster good relations with the Physician staff while still performing necessary duties as a Registered Pharmacist.
Minimum Requirements of the Hospital Pharmacist
· Current California Pharmacist license.
· Graduation from an ASHP-accredited residency or 5+ years of recent hospital inpatient experience is preferred
· Work a 10-hour shift
