Our client, one of the state's leading and most innovative healthcare organizations, located near Dixon, Ohio is seeking a registered Echo Technologist to join their team. Job Responsibilities for the Echo Technologist:
- Performs diagnostic echocardiograms and stress echo procedures as ordered by physicians.
- Records quality information while performing echocardiographic imaging and following procedural guidelines and protocols.
- Explains procedures and possible side effects of each procedure to the patient or family member to relieve fears and anxieties associated with the diagnostic cardiology procedure.
- Confirms all physician requests and evaluates patient’s clinical history for proper clinical indicators and possible contraindications for procedure requested.
- Collaborates with physicians to ensure quality patient care.
- Operates equipment used to perform echocardiograms.
- Day Shift 9:30 PM - 5 PM with Call
Minimum Requirements for the Echo Technologist:
- RDCS or RCS required
- 1 years of experience required
- BLS
- $10K Sign on Bonus - must have 1 year of experience.
