Our client in Atlanta is seeking a Lab Supervisor to lead their Microbiology laboratory team on the evening shift. Qualified Candidates must have a BS Degree in Medical Technology or related science. ASCP/AMT certification and experience as a Lead Microbiology Lab Tech or Microbiology Lab Supervisor is required. This position offers competitive compensation, great benefits and a Sign On Bonus!
Responsibilities of the Microbiology Lab Supervisor (MT) (MLT) (MLS) (CLS)
- Abide by laboratory protocol and procedures.
- Comfortable in a high-volume setting.
- Knowledge of laboratory equipment and testing to perform quality control checks and troubleshooting of instrumentation.
Requirements of the Microbiology Lab Supervisor (MT) (MLT) (MLS) (CLS)
- ASCP or equivalent certification required
- BS Degree in Medical Technology or related science required
- 2 years of experience as a Lead Micro Tech or Microbiology Supervisor required
- Comfortable working in all areas of the lab.
