Our client in Western Texas is seeking a full-time permanent Medical Technologist to join their state-of-the-art laboratory. Interested candidates must have completed a BS degree and a Medical Laboratory Technology program, have recent laboratory experience, and be ASCP or AMT certified as a Medical Laboratory Scientist to be considered for this role. Responsibilities of the Medical Technologist/Laboratory Scientist (MT) (MLS) (CLS)
- Primarily Hematology, but may train in other areas of the lab, as well
- Abide by laboratory protocol and procedures.
- Comfortable in a high-volume setting.
- Knowledge of laboratory equipment and testing to perform quality control checks and troubleshooting of instrumentation.
Requirements of the Medical Technologist/Laboratory Scientist (MT) (MLS) (CLS)
- ASCP or equivalent certification required
- BS Degree in Medical Technology or related science required
- Comfortable working in other areas of the lab.
